Hi, was wondering how many drops of June bug should i use to how many ozs of plastisol? I saw there was a similar thread to this but im using just the regular June bug colorant from do it. What color glitter should I add in? And how much?im going to make some 7 inch ribbon worms and hopefully they turn out. Gosh guys I dont know if ill ever get this stuff figured out. Thanks in advance

I have a basic recipe for you which I use, but as with all recipes, it is what you feel confident with and EXPERIMENT. Experimentation is what makes this hobby so fun. You will see recipes posted where some have more drops and some have less.
4oz of plastisol
8 drops of X2 June bug.
Lime green glitter you can use 0.040 and 0.015

Great Thank you guys so much ! Now the X2 coloring what is different about it compared to the regular Do it coloring ? And the 0.040 Glitter is it on Do its site? Thanks again

Hi Shaun. When you are referring to the 'regular' colorant, are you referring to the essential series? The X2 is stronger. Yes you can find the glitter on the Do-It website under soft plastics.

The essential series was designed to be a set of start off products for the new comers in lure designing as well as people on a budget. The colorant just needs a few more drops than the x2. Which I unfortunately cannot help with.

That's ok ill just order the X2 instead.

x2 is stronger...need less drops to get your color. Just remember to shake it up good before using (should do that with all colorants)

I have both in some colors l. The essential series isn't as strong as the X2. Sometimes this is a good thing. One time ide rather use essential is when making smoke color. A lot of times 1drop of X2 is too much. With the weaker Essential series you can dial in a color a little better.
