Title: Looks like lami plate creates "dent"
Post by: cubanice27 on 07/05/17 12:56 UTC
Hey all!! I started using my lami plate for my 5inch Yamamoto senkos. The only problem I'm having is that the first shot of color always creates a "dent" in my plastic. Anyone have the same issue? Anyone know how to fix this??(http://i722.photobucket.com/albums/ww221/cubanice27cubanice27/FB34001B-D2B1-480A-AF92-504CA909F008_zpsohe4vlha.jpg)

Cooler plastic and a warmer mold will help with this.

Search for dents and you will find dozens of threads.

Yup.  If you are cooking virgin plastisol you will have to heat to the 350 conversion point then let it cool a little before injecting.  That is why a good thermometer is so imperative.
