This here is an easy but effective one and looks nice on any style of bait I have tried so far (no swimbaits...yet).
Black colorant
.035 red flake to your liking
Orange/brown side
1/2 cup plastic
4 drops natural (Lurecraft)
2 drops Root beer (Lurecraft)
1-2 drops orange (Lurecraft) I say 1-2 simply for how much orange you want. I prefer one, my buddy wanted 2 for more orange.
Tip of a toothpick of white for some opacity, same can be achieved with salt if you prefer.

I know it looks like it isn't the same color but I assure you it is, that's just the effect the black has on this color; it doesn't quite retain the orangeness of it very well. I suppose if you truly wanted that orange and planned on doing the swirl you could just add even more orange to try and achieve that look

Orange, smorange, that's one nice looking bait. I'd dip in a little gold hi lite to the bottom color and then run a power cord to it to throw people off.

You're a fiend about those hi lites Tom!
