Title: Root Beer

Has anyone come up with a definitive recipe for "Root Beer"?  Darken up Motor oil?

I have a root beer colorant from LureWorks that I use that is a golden amber color.  I know that isn't very helpful though.  I would suggest trying maybe a motor oil and darken it with a drop of pumpkinseed.

I use the lure works root beer also.  I really like it.

Root beer can be a tough one. Many of the commercial outfits have their own rendition of the color and its a world apart from  the several different colorants said to make the color. Personally I don't use the root beer color so I don't mess with it.
