What color(s) is roadkill?
Thanks....Bill

So there is no standard roadkill color? I know Reaction Inovations has one but it looks like nothing special.
May have to go to the lab and create one. Muhahaha

I think you better make sure your rod has some decent backbone and your hands are dry and gripped when you throw that thing. NICE!!!

:o WOW :o Where is the recipe for this one?
-
I have one real close. Replace half the red with purple.

Thanks. Another very simple color.
I added it to the Cook book.

Roadkill is actually a color that is close to gp but has a watermelon look as well. Definitely has some copper hilite powder in it. Most you will see have no flake or very little black. Very popular color for smallmouth and was originally developed by the "tube" guys.
Fresh roadkill has small red flake.
Nice color pictured!!!

Schnoozers tubes had the original roadkill. They aren't made anymore as far as I know. The formula was sold/given to the guy that makes the tubes for Hawghead Baits in Central PA. If I ever figure out how to post pics this weekend I'll get a good close up shot for you. It's a real good color and I've actually melted some down for some of my handpours.

Miami has a great color also.
