Title: Playing with color shifting pearl

I’ve been doing some experiments with color shifting automotive pearl powder this week on lead heads. I’ve tried adding it to clear powder paint and dipping with fantastic results. Last night I added some turquoise/silver/red to a jar of 800 clear Hard As Nails fingernail polish. I found that a paper clip works pretty good taking the place of the hook in the shadhead mold. I dipped the head in black powder paint and painted the lower half of the jig with the polish leaving the top black. I ended up putting the nail polish on to thick, but man do these things pop!  I finished it off by dipping in CS Seal Coat.
These are the same 2 jigs. I just turned the paper towel with the lamp stationary.

Very realistic looking with the clear coat. I like it a lot!

Here is a batch of shadheads I dressed up this weekend. Paired with a bluegill pattern Ripper gotta say I was very pleased

Yeah I know lol and I keep forgetting to look and see how much more of that pearl I have. It’s been wild or I have been out of state since you posted these pictures
