That should work very well. You and I have the same liking for weedless streamlined lead heads. Interested to see the final results.

I made something similar with this mold.. I prefer the L3886BP Eagle Claw hooks. Check them out.

Those hooks in your pic are not Mustad 32824's... Those are 60* hooks and the hooks in the pic are 28-30* leg hooks.

Tanks Bou'Cou, Fellas!
I cooked up this Head with many aspects in mind.
The Shad Head Jig (wire keeper) is killer with action baits, whether swim tail or curl tail, but sways with a straight bait, which isn't natural for a baitfish (in that degree). The Erie has a lot of inherent stability since the majority of its weight is hung low, and modified to pull at the nose should still produce zero sway with a straight bait because of the inherent stability.
Pulling at the nose will also shed sOme grass the line collects, much better than a head with the line-tie up top.
Pulling at the nose will also keep the head from digging bottom, which is a major plus when bouncing or dragging bottom...a Flounder's demise.
It won't be long nOw.

Owner Wide Gap Plus 3/0 fits the 1/8 oz. cavity well-enough, although a hair snug toward the bottom, it'll pour once it's hot.
OWGP 5/0 fits the 3/16 oz. cavity very well.

MAN I just realized what I have to use for a Narrow Curltail Worm.
It's going to be as perfect as it gets, until I go quiet.
The Specks and Flounder will fall, and their blood will be spilled on my Cutting Board.
