Foam Baitfish with Gills
Body Shape: 3/16 industrial foam
gills and baitfish profile are cut with a laser to match the hook
Hook: EC 253 4/0
I have never been very good or fast at cutting these out but having a laser cut the shape makes short work of tying these up.
Just need to put resin on, turn it and I can call it done.

Nice ! So you bought the foam body ?

Those will be fun to fish!

Dang, it has been a long time since I fished a crease fly. They are a hoot to toss into a school of active white bass. They usually don't make it far.

I cut the foam shape out with a laser.
Plans are to sell blanks that fit different type hooks in various sizes.
Precut blanks will make it easy for anyone to make the finished fly.
Are you interested in purchasing some to try?

Not really my type of fishing but I think a cool idea. I'm sure there is a market for it with fly fisherman.

Thanks Mo Qwack.
I am making some more with a longer VMC hook so none of the tail protrudes beyond the bend.
Will be trying them soon.
Once I am happy with the performance I will list them on E-bay and will be offering 2/0, 3/0, 4/0 & ,5/0.
;D
