Title: True Story
Post by: Lamar on 08/14/18 15:30 UTC
I went fishing this morning down along the river. The fish were bitting so good I ran out of worms. So I went walking down the bank looking for a big rock or something I could flip over to get me some more worms. Then I came across a cottonmouth snake with a frog in his mouth. I thought to myself frogs are good bait too. So knowing the snake couldn't bite me with a frog in his mouth I grabbed it behind the head and took the frog from his mouth and put it in my pocket. Now I thought if I let go of this snake he's going to bite me. So I had a flask with some Jack Daniels in it and I poured some in the snakes mouth. The snake became real limp and his eyes rolled back in his head. I slowly laid him back in the water without incident. I went back to fishing. About a half hour later I was fishing and I felt a bump up against my leg. I looked down and there was that old snake with two frogs in it's mouth.

Moral of the story: You never know what a little Jack Daniels is going to bring you.

Wonder what he’d do for the flask sounds like the snake has a habit.
