The new laminate plates really make the CCM Glider a whole new bait! I'm using the plate to make laminate bodies for the most part...letting the tail be 100% the 2nd shot color.
Making bellies for the Swim Shad is really fast. I mold up 4 rounds of bellies ..12 baits. Trim off the tail, and then reinsert into the mold for the top color for 12 baits.
All the baits were fully (to the tail) dipped in CCM Medium Clear.

Those are some great looking colors, Andy. It looks like you trim the nose after dipping???

Yeah...to clean the plastic snot off...and some are trimmed straight because I put them on a mushroom head jig to see how they looked.

I love the glider as a lami. It is one of my favorites. I like the solid tail, it gives a really nice looking contrast. We are getting ready to release the lami plate for the flipster and another new bait that is very similar that has a paddle tail as well. Should make some pretty sweet looking baits similar to the glider, just bigger and with a bug style body.

Trydipping and then holding the bait above the rim of the container by 1/8 inch. I allow the drip that forms on the nose end to bulge, then I tap it on the rim. The drip stays on the container and it forms a nice round end as the next drip starts to develope. I go right into water a bath when I see the end heal after knocking off the first drip.
