Title: WHITE TRASH?
Post by: THE 4CS on 02/14/12 17:34 UTC
I have just ordered my first setup. I have never poured anything plastic before. I am wanting to recreate reactions white trash color. Do any of you have a recipe for this color. I would appreciate any help.

Well, you said any help, so here goes.  Looks to be a white & white pearl base, maybe with a small bit of silver smoke.  Light and dark blue, copper or gold, light purple and maybe lime glitter.  0.015 size maybe, and not very much of any one of them.  I would start with a white pearl base, and add a touch of each of the glitters.  Shoot it.  From there add white, a drop ( or two ) at time, and adjust my glitter to my liking.  Then if it is too bright add a drop ( or two ) of silver smoke.  Remember; you can add more, but you can't take it back out.

You will find if you go light on the "additives" and work your way in steps you may find a bait recipe  that you like better than what you started out trying to make.  And In my experience ( which is not nearly a much as many ) working on a specific color is usually quicker ( and less frustrating ).  Sample baits at each smaller step.

Thanks guys. I have about nailed the color. Now if I could figure out the best way to get my plastic to stay melted it would be great.
