Title: Pile of Perch
Post by: ctom on 04/18/19 13:55 UTC
Here's a nice heap of fun food for some unsuspecting crappies. From left to right they measure 7/10", 1 1/2" and 1". The 7/10 and one inch are really quite close in size yet the difference is easily seen when in the hand.

Everything Createx on these. A pearl white base, pearl pineapple with a spot of fluorescent yellow did the sides and belly. Tangerine pearl with a little fluorescent orange and a shot of wicked detail orange did the forward bellies. Transparent black thinned like crazy and shot thru a couple combs did the bars. The backs are transparent green with a dose of lime pearl and just a touch of brown to keep the brightness in check. A simple dip in CSealcoat closed these up. They'll hang a few days to harden the seal coat well, then some  Mustad trebles to finish them off.
