What hooks are you using for this bait?

3/0 Venom hooks. They also make a weighted hook that works pretty good too. https://www.venomlures.com/screw-lok-keeper-hook-venom-lures.html

Thank you for the link.
I thought these frogs were meant to 'float'.

The weighted hooks simply help keep the frog right side up.

It just depends what they want. Sometime they just follow it and won't commit. So I just swim it over the cover and pause it and let in sink a little. A lot of time little things like that will get them to bite.

Also, if you want them to float; use floating plastic.

I like to swim them on top through the slop (weeds, etc) and then at the edge let them sink. I catch a lot of fish that dart out and nail them as they slowly sink. Bass love the edge of cover!
