  Here are some freshly baked darter heads in 1/4oz.  I like the darter paired up with a ripper or a 4'' grub for smallmouth.

Nice jig’s they work great with hair or marabou also.

  For open water I like the balance of the darter, ripper combo. On a steady retrieve or trolling you get a little side to side wiggle.

Lamar what is your current head of choice.  I'm liking the freestyle, very little wiggle, tail action is great.

  That's what I use. I use the ripper more for trailers on spinner baits and chatter baits.
