Got out on the water paddling at 4:30am this morning and was fishing by 5:00. I finished up at 10:00am with a grand total of 30+ fish. The best baits were a 3” twin tail and a 3” chub grub. Both fished on do it 1/8 oz. round heads and minnow heads. I even caught my first 2 fluke today. The rest were baby stripes and trout. The biggest being around 18” and 16”.
My knee held up but it was questionable getting the yak in and out of the water.

It is an Ascend FS12T. I hope to have a peddle drive in the future.

That’s the one I’ve been looking at but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

It’s not a hobie or pelican, but it’s not a $1,000+ either. They made some improvements on the new ones it appears. Mine gets the job done. The seat is super comfy and it has loads of storage
