Same Stand, Different Day... aka Punked again!
-
Is the second pic him looking right at you.
-
No, he's working a scrape... if I was there, I'd probably (hopefully) be posting a pic of him on the ground.
-
Yep he needs to be ground checked

Beauty!

RIGHT!?!?!?!
Well, I sat the stand last night and this morning and saw nothing but squirrels... although I have pics of those two bucks on my property from last year, I think these early visits were simply coincidental and they're not likely to make any love-drunk mistakes for a few weeks yet.
-
Simply because you're still getting pics of them AFTER last season sort of makes me think they aren't prone to mistakes period.
-
AND AGAIN... (this guy has some nerve)
-
He's fixen' to get arrowed.

He's there at about 6pm in each set of pics. I make time to have a meeting with this one. Call in healthy or whatever you need to do, just be there.

Them big Bucks are smart.
Likely, he knows where you are, when you're there, everywhere you are, whenever you're in his woods.
Gotta be on your Ps and Qs for a Boss like that one...or wait him out long enough that he gets gray between his antlers and starts experiencing cognitive decline, at which point you can mount some headlights on your bicycle and he'll just walk out in front of you.
I hope we see some pics of bacon-wrapped Backstrap soon 👊

The last set of pics came on an evening where I sat that morning... kinda like he has cameras watching me!
-
Those game cameras gives you the same feeling my Mega 360 does on my boat. I use to say I guess nobody is home. Now I can see them but I can't get them to bite and it pisses me off.

Yeah, you got it brother (dang, I hate that feeling)... but the other part of me is glad for the technology because at least I know the game I pursue is somewhat within reach.
