Title: Field test
Post by: Fishermanbt on 11/25/19 11:58 UTC
With it being a decent afternoon I decided to field test some 2 3/4” tubes and spinners I’ve been working on in our farm pond. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191125/747bd65c227fe7adce39ef2ffc4cc000.jpg)

Nice to have a pond on the farm to test things.

Thanks. I was hopeful the tubes would present well. I just wasn’t sure I hand cut them good enough. The spinner bait game is fairly new to me since I’ve primarily used plastics and some hard baits to target bass. I swore I’d never own a mold that took a bunch of jewelry due to costs and here I am. Add to it the two weedless arkey skirt jig molds I picked up used and, well it’s been a bit pricey.

That pond is fantastic if I may brag a bit. It was once an old coal strip job that was over grown with autumn olive bushes and a trench cut out from water run off. My dad turned it into an oasis for hunting and fishing.
