Looking to get into making my own tackle. Would like a recommendation for the best do it mold to make chatter baits. Thanks

I have made a dozen or more different style heads... You may like the trokar pro swim jig with a flat eye hook. 1 split ring and your good to go. Use a 1/8 in pin to eliminate the weed guard.

Welcome CEZ11 -
You'll find we all have our own preferences for making different baits, so do plenty of investigating...
As for me, I use the poison tail jig (heating the eye to open it and crimp it directly to the blade) because the smaller hook wire gives more vibration than hooks with larger wire size.

I didn't say it was my favorite... But it's a "legal" method! ;D

Here is one way:

I make them with the horizontal eye Arkie mold connecting the jig to the blade with a single split ring.

And I make them using any spinnerbait mold

Here is a great YouTube video on how to make a Chatterbait/bladed jig with an Arky jig:

And here is a link to the That Guy Skimpy video on making the chatterbait with a horizontal eye Arky and split ring (which is the most common way I make them).

There, that should keep you busy the rest of the year!!

Barlow's has a new starter kit.. Just a thought. https://barlowstackle.com/do-it-trokar-pro-swim-jig-mold-starter-kit/
I'm not a fan of trying to copy a bait, But I do like making something better than the original. ;)
