Here's a couple more colors that have been good producers.

The orange over a yellow-gold hi lite flank and white belly is a real good fish catcher on cloud, dingy days. The orange has a top coat of gold and rose hi lite in clear, maybe twice as much rose as gold. The sun is at a bad angle for any of the top coat hi lite colors come out in the picture but they are there big time....about like the crank baits from the other day's post.
This purple over pink with a white belly is another great one on brighter days. The purple was put on the flanks as another "crappie" pattern, heat set then the back's purple sprayed on. The top coat is clear with violet and rose hi lites in equal amounts.
No idea why, but last summer the baits that had white portions on their bellies caught more fish and got more swings and misses than baits with bellies the same color as the sides. Weird, but that's why the bellies have not been given any color other than white.

Wow those look fantastic ctom. The more I think about it the more I'm tempted to buy the equipment to start painting the crappie cranks.

The crappie cranks can be a challenge. I bought smooth bass sized baits to learn some air brushing control and pattern stuff on. Paint them, wash them off and do again. Once I felt that I had a decent grip on techniques and paint control I began on smaller baits. Then smaller yet.
I am a "color" guy. I don't give a rip about fins and specific patterns. I like random application of colors and crappies like it too. Stenciling and fins and all that are for show. I fish.
I did a display board of many of my plastics and entered it in the county fair here in the senior "open" class and got Best of class and First place ribbons. I entered the same board in the State Fair in the "senior open" class and took third place out of almost 1800 entries. This year I am entering the county fair again, same division, only going to show the crappie cranks.

They sure should get you another first place ribbon again this year.

Nice baits!! wish I had the talent for airbrushing but I dont!! I suck at it!!
