Some black and blue rippers for a buddy at work. I haven't had a chance to fish this 3" size much but have had a lot of success with the 3.5.

The 3” is a awesome bait. The only bait of it’s size that can move a 1/4 oz. jig without killing the action of the plastic.
-
I'm with you WW, here it is on a 1/4oz darter head with a 3/0 hook. This is as big as I go with this bait but it handles it well.

Good looking baits. I know i sure like my es ripper mold. Heck i like all the e s molds i have so far.
-
Sweet baits DF. That black and blue is outstanding.

When the walleyes are on a less aggressive bite (as they were two nights ago), that 3" size will put more fish in the boat than any other lure... it's definitely one of my "must have" baits.

Awesome job DF. I bought the 2.5" and the 3.5". I have to wait until I get moved to Alabama to try them out.
-
DF sweet combos. I use both round and darter jigs depending on were I'm fishing and what the current is.

The tear drop wire keeper work well also. The flo blue has been a killer color for me but my brother like the Rootbeer.
Sure would like to see a tail mold for ripper molds 8)

I put a little spinner on the front to give it a little action.

Nice Lamar

Nice looking baits there. I have the little small 2" can't wait to crank in some crappie on them
-
Does anyone have all the sizes? It would be great to have a side by side photo of the whole ripper line-up.
-
I've got from the 2" to the 6 inch however the 6 inch is out on loan right now.
-
I got the 3" to 6" but not the 2". I just got the 6" before I went to Canada last Sept. and I'm telling ya that thing is a chunk of meat to hurl out there. We caught several very large pike on it.
The top one is the 3" and then 3.5" and then the 6"
The hook is a 3/4 oz. swim bait hook I ground out so a 8/0 Owners hook would fit in it. The one that did the most damage is the top one. That is root beer and Mo's magic. I guess they thought it was a small walleye. If you notice the barb is smashed down so we could get it out of them without hurting them. They would choke it.

Thank you Lamar. That 6" is quite a jump in size :o

It is but I'm telling you it's a big fish bait. I haven't had a chance to play with it on bass yet. Maybe better in some of the lower states. But pike and I'm guessing musky eat this thing up. I even caught a 34 inch walleye on it.

Its also a great Lake Trout bait. I strung up a heavy rod last summer late so I could cast the extra weight and chucked a pearl 6" Ringer on a 5/8 ounce ballhead with a greatly over-sized hook....6/0. I had one good hit and the fish bit the bait off just behind the hook.
