Last September I planted a dozen cloves of garlic in the corner of a raised bed and I noticed yesterday that all 12 are up about an inch now. Now I'm thinking I'll pick up my onion plants and get them in the ground after we see how much rain tomorrow brings. They say an inch and I can still hand cultivate if we don't get much more than that.
I'm watching the water levels on the lake north of me too. As soon as it gets to summer pool level I'm on the dock. Nobody out there but me so I can call it my outside exercise sequestering for the day.

Or days.
Tired of this at home all the time crap. Only so many directions we can walk and we've about got grooves tramped down in every direction from home now. Feels good to walk outside though.

They found some loop hole we are still working. Glad to hear a new season of gardening has started for you.

My garlic is up also. Got to get the aspargus bed cleaned out and get ready for planting, Good Friday is when I plant peas, potatoes, and onions.
