Good for you! Those are nice , er, fish. lol Nice to get out and into some fish you love to catch.
Water looks like thin chocolate milk, run-off laden? Or is it just winter color yet?

It was muddy. But a red vibrating jig did the job.

Looks like it was cool, but nice fishing weather. We've had drizzle to freezing drizzle to freezing rain to snow today. White again here on roofs and grass. Was 67 here yesterday. 27 right now. Sucks in Minnesota today. The weekend is supposed to be decent with warmer temps and SUNSHINE.
I had a couple shore spots on the Mississippi that would have been great for early bassing but the big river is WAYYYYYYY up. Gonna wet a lot of people this year when all the snow in the NW central parts of the state starts melting in earnest and gets in the watershed.
You had a good day. Happy for you. Stay well Lamar....all of your family.

You too Tom. I have family that live in St. Paul so I watch your weather. I see you have been having flood warnings for a couple of weeks now. It was 56 and sunny here yesterday. I just went around to the coves on the north side that didn't have the wind blowing in them. Those big females would move up on the flats to get warm. Water temp was 49 when I got there and about two it jumped up to 54 and I even found some 56. That was key and that's when they moved up.
