This is a picture of me and my friend Karl ( on the left ) Karl is a plumber and I asked him if he could save a little lead for me to make jigs for our up and coming Canadian trip. So the other picture is the 70 pound bucket of lead he came up with. At 1/4 oz each that's 4480 jigs I can make. I'm not to sure how long he is planning on staying but one thing is for sure, I need to order more hooks.

That's a pile of lead for sure. Your hook supplier will be happy.

You're sortof skinny and the wind has been awful. Maybe tie some of the bars to you shoes to help keep you up-right. Eh?

Man you are going to be busy for a long time Lamar. I got about 1,000 #6 Crappie jigs I've got to get powder painted and baked.

A good friend to have!!!

If I got down to 70lbs, I'd be worried. LOL... I have 900+ lbs right now and a friend said I can pick up 1,200 more lbs whenever I need more. LOL.. Mine is all virgin lead that is soft. I'd like to trade someone equally for about 500lbs of hard lead.

Friends like that is what keeps most of us busy making things.

We rent a 16ft Lund with a 25hp four stroke Yamaha. I'm the captain and always feel like I'm going down hill all week. I know some of it is alcohol related but not all of it. Still always a good time. I hope this year we get to go. My wife and I had to cancel our trip to Iceland, Norway and Arctic in June but the Canadian trip is in September so it might still happen. We'll cross our fingers. Crazy world we're in right now.
