Post by: ctom on 07/24/20 00:51 UTC
How much would one add to 4 ounce batches?

One TBL Spoon to 4oz. will give you the same fall rate as a GY Senko.

Thanks Lamar. With me making primarily the small baits I have never used this stuff. I tried salt when I needed weight but wasn't crazy of the scouring effect it had on the injector.

The HD additive does take a lot of stirring to get it  broke up in the plastic.

Do you guys put it in the raw plastic when you start or after the plastic is at temp.

I put it in at the start. Really takes a lot of stirring and I don't like hot plastic sloching out of the cup!

I am with Gary. Put it isn't the beginning and keep stirring! I love the stuff...in dark colors!!

That's honestly the exact same question I was going to ask.  I been thinking about buying the Senko mold and have folks asking me about making them some but I  just  did not want to mess with salt. Does this  have any effect on the colorant changing? I heard salt does but not sure really about this stuff.

The HD will cloud the bait a little but in Senko you can fish that thing all day. It really makes the bait durable and soft. So in darker colors it's the best thing to use.
