The annual family beach trip is in the books. Kayak fished the Roanoke Sound again this year. Although the 3" Ripper and Freestyle jig with a 3" minnow or curl tail grub proved substantial the real winner was a hair jig I pieced together using a minnow head jig. The rattle collar that I threw on them was the ticket it seemed. A one day total from daylight to about 11:00am was 27. Overall, for the week I boated between 50-70 fish most were trout (17" biggest), some flounder (18" biggest), and one lone stripped bass (19").
Working on trying to remember how to attach pictures. I did get a few saved in the gallery.
