Title: Glitter melting?

A friend, without the luxury of the internet, recently started pouring soft plastic. He has confronted me with a question that I cannot answer but I knew someone here possibly could.
He purchased his plastic, stabilizer and glitter from Do It. Upon pouring the Crappie Fluke mold with clear plastic and red glitter the baits turned a strawberry color. Also he poured a Craw mold with green pumpkin colored plastic and black glitter these baits came out almost black.
He is convinced that the glitter has melted or decomposed.
He was careful with his temperatures.
Can anyone explain the possible cause of this?

I've never seen or heard of red or black being bleeder but then I do not use much of either color personally. Perhaps some other who use them have had cases where they've bled. Curios to hear what others may say.

most Polyester Glitter are Solvent Resistant
crap black glitter bleed some light dark ..red was more like a dirt/light red (happens to me)

Do you put your glitter in after your Plastic at temp?
Black makes all color darker and I’ve never had a problem with red turning a different color or bleed.
Keep remelting to a minimum.

I use both of those colors with no issues.
What temperature was he pouring at?
Did he add any scent?

Thanks for the replies.
I spoke with my friend today. He has been adding the glitter after the new plastic becomes clear. He has not been adding any scents.
I will visit his shop soon to see first hand the problems he is experiencing. He is new to plastics but has been pouring lead and making baits for many years. Through the years he has developed a loyal local clientele for his creations. He worked at the Nashville Bass Pro Shop for several years when it first opened. It is curious to hear his tales of how different baits ran the gamut from new and hot to can't give them away.

I also have no problem with red or black bleeding and I use a lot of it

too small glitter and to much.!
