Post by: bassmasters40701 on 03/17/12 19:14 UTC
Is there a good green pumpkin color or am i missing it on Caney Creek's website. If not, does anyone have a good recipe for it.

Thanks,

Contack Jason about his new colorants he is carrying. I dont see it on the website yet.

If you dont have (or want to buy) GP colorant. Take watermellon 9or any green) and add a wee bit of brown or pumpkin.

There IS a Green Pumpkin from CCM...I have it...got it maybe 2 months ago.  Jason has some new Colorant and I believe he sent out a few samples for testing, among a few CCM Members, and if my memory serves me correctly, it was Green Pumpkin (I could be wrong about that).  I haven't searched the Forum for "New Colorant" to find the Thread, but it was fairly recent.  Because of this, Jason may have taken the Green Pumpkin off of the Store Site, temporarily.

MAN, it's the "next Thread down" in this same catagory.  Oops!

I have the 2X and am very impressed with it.  I like an opaque gp for some of my laminates.  1 1/4 tsp in 3.5 cups produced a fantastic opaque gp.  Just for reference my normal gp recipe for a  lighter gp using what I have left of Del's gp, was 3tsp for 3.5 cups.  I am adding 3.5 tablespoons of salt as well.

I do not need it right away. Next time I order I will make sure that I include that in my order.

Thanks again everyone for the information!
