Title: Sticks and Flukes
Post by: DF on 02/12/21 17:54 UTC
Here are some essential series sticks and flukes I made for my brother. These baits are the rare time I use heavy salt and softner.

Love that blue D. Are those hand pours?

My favorite stick color.

I don't really have a favorite color for any bait, but a good two-tone pattern (whether lami or d-inj) bumps every bait into another class in my book... and DF's baits are especially so when working with multiple colors... so the sticks would be a top pick for sure!

Thanks ctom, I used a dual injector for these.

You've been making that fluke for a long time. We had a bait swap one time here and you sent me some. I never forget a bait that works. Nice job.

I have the 4" WutzIt mold but with the forked tail. Gotta have the forked tail. Great walleye bait. Sure wished the made a mold without the bar for a hook slot.

Yes sir, that fluke is year after year one of my top baits. I like to fish it weightless in the slop and hit isolated targets.

Dremel ---> just do one cavity (or a portion of the cavity) to see if that is what want.

Been there, done that. Just make the mold without the rib.

I think you can get the standard wutz-it (non fork tail) without a hook slot.

Edit: Sorry, I missed the "gotta have the fork tail" part of your post.
