I have extremely good sucess with reaction innovations Hematoma color. I would love to recreate it and make some different creatures with it. How do you get the swirled look? Do you make two seperate colors then "swirl" the shoot?

I know nothing, but if you try using 2 colours and blending block, have your plastic a little on the warm side and inject a LITTLE faster than normal you may just get close to your desired results.
But please if this is wrong some one correct me or if you have a better method i would like to hear it to.

if your using a twin injector loosen the knobs on top so there is a little play in them., I have best results when one color is 30-40 degrees cooler than the other, alternate pressure on the injectors with very short burst till the mold is full.

I know what would happen to me if I tried that.... I'd get burned!!!!
The best way I have found to get a nice swirled bait is to use a split cup. If the divide is cut about 1/2" before the spout area to allow the colors to mix, you can get the desired effect. Your plastic cannot be to warm or the colors will just mix in the mold.
I have used my injectors as mentioned by microspoons and the cooler plastic is a must. The results are more one color then another color for me vs a swirled bait.
Guess it is just a practice thing like everything else.

I've had good luck with swirls while singing "you spin me right round baby right round" while using the twin. :P
