I am having trouble finding the right hook for my frog baits.
I have the 3 1/2" and 4" Croakers.
I am looking for a light wire hook that I can attach a screw lock to.
What are the best ones you guys have found for the money?

Either a a 5/0 for the 4"

Hey gone froggen
do you rig the 4" between the back legs and what size screw lock are you using?
Thanks Shawn

I use a 30 degree jig hook and screw lock. 5.0 for the 4", 4.0 for the 3.5" -> this lets you run it between the legs and skin hook on the back. For me, my hook-ups are higher this way. If you want to T-rig it you can downsize both 1 size. You can buy hooks in bulk from Barlows or Hagens.
As a side note, I am going to start carrying hooks specific to our baits as soon as I get done testing them. I've talked to all the major Mfg. and have it narrowed down to 2. I have samples and am checking them out. Will keep you posted.
Tight lines!

Sounds great, Jason!
Underdog, I use these hooks (http://www.barlowstackle.com/Mustad-91768BLN-Jig-Hook--P403.aspx) and these screw locks (http://www.barlowstackle.com/Snap-on-Coil-Forms-P914.aspx) (the "large" size)
I rig it the same way Jason does (between the legs and skinning the back).

Jason thanks for helping me out with this on the phone the other day. Did not have much luck at bp, best I could do was a 4/0 that I would have to t rig. I think the hook would have to travel threw to much plastic to get good hook sets. So I will try the 5/0 thank you gone froggin for the link very helpful.
