I could argue against your statement of "Nobody likes to fish more than me...", but thanks for cleaning up what other left behind.
(Kudos!)

My wife and I just cleaned up a bunch of line, bobbers, and bottles while walking on the lake shore at a boat ramp near here. Had to bring it home to dispose of it, as there were no trash cans at the ramp. I don't understand why people feel the need to trash places.

Awesome walk in the park on a great day and another thing that we always do is pick things that other people couldn’t get back or was to lazy to. That way when the water is higher / normal pool your not getting snagged up on it.

Great to hear that you got out for some exercise WalleyeWacker. Hope all is going well for you.

Walking is the best sensible exercise there is, so hiking is right up[ there with me. I climb our deer hill a few times each summer and never stop marveling at how great the woods are. Still, with it being private property and well watched there is always signs that others from neighboring property have been there and they seem to forget to take their crap with them. Cans, bottles, cigarette packages/butts and candy wrappers are the usual fare.
As sorry as it is, all that needs to happen is add people to the out of doors and you'll get trash left behind.
Kudos to you for getting into the out of doors with your daughter. Spark that interest early and establish the habit of bringing a plastic bag to pick up after others and she'll pass that along down the road.
