I remember that saying from my childhood and sometimes it applies to bait making as well. I have a cool 2 cavity open pour silicone mold (a 5 inch curly tail swim bait). That I thought I would remelt some pucks I had laying around. I figured I had enough to make at least a couple of hundred baits so I knew that it is going to be a long day. Well so far I have made it to 26 and haven't even put a dent in it. It is gonna be a long one.

It's hot here too. ( Michigan ) I pour above my garage and it's like an attic up there . Just run the fans.
That's a lot of swims ! Must be a bait you use a lot ?

Y'all take a jaunt on down to Alabama sometime and experience some true sub-tropical weather. 94 degrees with an insane amount of humidity. You walk outside and are immediately drenched in sweat and it will be like this almost every day until late September.

My pile of baits has grown to 58. My pile of pucks has been reduced by about 20 per cent. Already getting tired of this but I do have some decent baits out of the deal so I am pressing on (for now).
