Hi Guys , just purchased a 3.75" single cavity skirt mold from do it. My question is can it produce nice two color skirts , half and half , or top and bottom when using a duel injector. The feed hole looks real small and as I have not yet shot it yet and I don't have a duel injection system was wondering if any one has tried it. If so can you post a pick of a two color please and offer feed back. Will that small hole allow nice color separation. It think it should work ::)

I do not have that mold, but I do have a single cavity skirt mold from Bass Tackle that is top injection. It does a good laminate with the dual injector and it has a pretty small gate.

Thanks fishermanbt. My mistake the mold is not a do it mold but a cnc from luremaking dot com. I will be looking forward to trying it out this fall.

I’ll try to get a picture posted when I get home from work.

The only skirt mold I saw at that website will do a two color....half of the spread one color, the second color doing the other half of the tentacles. It won't do a top/bottom color.
And if I haven't already welcomed you to the Do-It forums, welcome aboard.

Here is a picture of my skirt mold and the side by side laminate I shot with the twin injector. Hope this is helpful. As ctom said welcome.
