I wanted to get better movement on the paint jobs on my jigs hoping to get some brighter colors and started mixing my own paints using Pearl Ex Pigments into clear powder paints and this is what I got. I've only made five colors so far but from the results I got will be mixing a few more. [ Invalid Attachment ] [ Invalid Attachment ]

PearlX has some remarkable pearl colors. I think I have 30 of them. Nice looking heads there Jungle!.

Very nice! How are you applying the paint to the jig? Using an airbrush?
-
Wow, those are friggin' juicy!

No airbrush, simply heat head once with a bic lighter, dip and brush tap colors top and bottom and finish by dipping into the silver crinkle powder paint. 10 cent brushes from hobby shop is what I use. Been painting jigs this way for 30 years and wouldn't change a thing.
