Went to a small impoundment that I had never fished before today. It holds several species from crappie and bluegill to catfish, bass and a few musky I am told. An added bonus it was stocked with rainbow and brook trout this month. I broke out the tungsten bead jigs that I made with uv resin and airbrushed. Fist time using them and I am now a believer. Very well suited to my ice rod. The color of the day was pink. Total for the day 18 trout (2 on crawlers on the hook setter I made), 2 small bluegill and I lost a stud of a bass coming up through the hole.

Trout through the ice are a hoot. Nice work on the fish and on the lures!
