Title: Sticking Elaztech to plastisol
Post by: Jig Man on 02/20/22 07:49 UTC
Anyone have ideas on how to stick them together.  I'm wanting to stick skirts hula grub skirts to TRDs.  It's winter and I'm experimenting with stuff.   I've tried heat, Krazy glue, Super Glue Gel and Mend-It.  None of it has been satisfactory.

I'll just say welcome to the Do-It forums Jig Man. Cannot help at all with the issue you have with that plastic though.

I would consider making the TRD and skirt from MF Bounce floating plastic. Bonding won't be an issue with the same material.

Z-Man states that the elaztech is not compatible with regular plastics, so not a good idea to try & combine them. I've not had it happen, because I didn't do it, but know of others who placed them in the same boxes & the stuff made a big mess.

I'm sure you are right but my daughter bought me 2 packs of TRDs in every color that Bass Pro carried.  They had 22 colors.  I'm just looking for creative ways to use those little suckers.
