I didn't see this posted yet, but I saw on the main site that there is now a 5" version of the Thump Grub. I really like the other three sizes. Thoughts?

This is one of the pending releases that I saw on my trip to HQ, and I'm very excited about it... (it definitely hits the 'must have' status for me)... the next smaller (formerly largest) sized has been a staple for when I want less vibration than than the ripper, but more than a curly tail. The thump grub has a much different sound (and profile) than the ripper and has caught many a bass and walleye for me... now I'll be able to give a run for muskies with this style as well, and of course, this bigger version most definitely will be a player for the 'eyes and lippers here on the Miss as it does not overshoot the size to make itself muskie exclusive.
When I made the trip to HQ, they told me this would be a July release, but now that it is officially on the website, I'm looking to have this fella in use with the next few weeks.

Nice! I may have to find a use for it just because. I'm thinking tossing it off our Westcoast jettys for whatever is under the water and tossing it in the few Muskie waters here could be just the spot.

Just ordered it!
It'll be perfect for throwing weightless on a Gamakatsu 3/0 or 4/0 or 5/0 straight worm hook, among other things. No EWG required, and its round body will cast very well.
With its shape it'll also make a great jerkbait, just knock the tail off.
STOKED!!!

Every one of the Thump-It line has been a winner and I'm sure this new 5" version will be a terror too.

Ordered mine from Barlow's last night then they were out of stock on this 5" 😁
I so sowwy 😂
The good news is I personally do quite a bit of catch 'n release so rest easy knowing I'm not out here over-harvesting like many do.
