I recently acquired these because I had never seen anything like them before. I suspect they are lure master forms but not sure how they were used or by who. The three on the left appear to resemble a rattle trap. The others I’m not sure. They are made of brass and a few have aluminum plates in the middle (bottom right bait separated). Most have at least two threaded holes inside. I did not separate the ones with a brass wire holding them together.
Can anyone maybe name the lures and how these forms might have been used? I will note that the aluminum inserts appear to have wear on them that I see when woodworking using a bearing guided router bit against a pattern. Chatter marks if that makes sense. Thanks.
