Braid always makes the worst bird nests.

Went to cast out of my kayak and the lure caught the cat tails when dropping the rod back, 20min later and my line clipper........was left with very limited amount of braid on the spool. However, I didn't have to leave and respool.

Been there, done that, switched back to mono... (still do it, but with far less frequency and intensity as compared to the braid days).
