Title: Regular swivel with finesse dropshot weight mold?
Post by: Coosa Redeye on 08/29/22 17:51 UTC
Is that possible, or would I need to use the line pinch swivels? Regular swivels would fit my need much better.

i looked into to this also, for use on a free rig, it looks like if you put the line pinch type in backwards (round end out, line pinch in the lead) they will work, also any swivel that matches the line pinch size wise should work as well.

If you haven't bought the mold yet...there is one that uses the regular swivel on a bell sinker. (Found on Do-it catalog page 42). On the end of my drop shot line; I use a regular snap and then attach the size of bell sinker I need. Works great as far as not coming off when you fight a fish. However I mainly fish weed edge lakes. No wood or rocks to catch sinker in)
