Title: Fishing Lures Buying Guide

I am new to fishing lures. Going to buy a new lures but not sure what are the things to consider before buying a  fishing lures  (https://www.sportsmanfinder.com/fishing/lures). Just want to know what type of lure catches the most fish & does color effects?

 I guess first we need to know what type of fish that you're fishing for and second where are you fishing. Lakes, rivers, ponds or ocean ?
