Title: 2.5" Stinger Wutz-it compared to 2.5" Fry
Post by: Marc on 11/25/22 16:58 UTC
Is the 2.5" Stinger Wutz-it a larger bait than the 2.5" Fry by any noticeable margin?  It looks like the body is bigger and tail is thicker.

The Fry bait has a tail that is triangular at the body and tapers to a fine point. Great action in it. The Stinger Wutz-it's tail is a different configuration altogether and is rather flat top and bottom. I think the Fry bait has a whole lot more versatility not only in the fishing but in what one can do to manipulate the baits when injecting. I love the fry baits with the 2.25" being my favorite.

I too have an affinity for the 2.25 fry bait.  Another good one is the little 2 inch thumper fry.  Aggressive bluegills like to suck the little paddle tails off (which used to tick me off).  Then I realized I still had a stinger.  Cast it out count down and twitch retrieve.  Works like a charm

That Thumper Fry is a dandy at times. Another that gets very little attention is the Rad Tad. There are times when I fish pilings vertically that the Rad Tad just smokes fish when it's dropped down along the piling with all the week growth the pilings have on them.
