I got this group of 10 floats sanded, painted and stemmed yesterday instead of watching it snow. I have an even dozen of the balsa blanks to finish now and then I’ll be float rich for a while.
Of all things hard to find, balsa is proving to be a reach…. At least affordably. When I get this next dozen floats wrapped up I should be set. 84 of the little sweethearts. For these 84 I have a total of $21.00 tied up. To buy the same number of commercial floats like these the cost would have been between $252.00 and $266.00.
