I would like some ideas on what color of skirt and trailer on a jig you would use to match bluegill. I just cant get anything im happy with.
Using the MD3XL as a trailer. or swim shad.
Thanks Justin

Mike makes these. I'm sure others on here make some good ones as well. For Fork I like a little Pumpkin Seed or Brown in my skirt also.

That's a really nice looking jig right there; to me anyway.
A way to get ideas is to google "flipping jigs" or "swim jigs", etc. and see what web sites come up. Then go and check them out.

I make my own jigs. And have a lot of skirt tabs. And I think I have all of those colors. That jig looks nice. it's the orange I was missing in the one I made tonight I think.
I think my problem is I'm very Hard to make happy. : ).
