Title: Candy Mold Caterpillar
Post by: anyfish on 02/04/24 20:14 UTC
I found this silicone caterpillar mold at the local grocery store for $3.00.   Made a few caterpillars.  When the water warms up some, I'll be interested to see how it goes.

That's nifty. Nice find. Let us know if the fish like it.

That is a cool find. Looks a lot like the old Strike King Carolina Rig bait.

I really like that.  Even if its a dud you could always use it as a dip bait for catfish!

No doubt those will work. Good idea!

Thanks guys.  The silicone is thin, so it got a little warm, nlbut that's a minor detail.

Chris, looks like the mold pours good.

It does work well Les.  The mold is a little to deep for my liking,  so I cut about 1/4 of the height off of the finished baits pictured.  All in, not bad.  The mold also gives each bait a cool smiley face but that doesn't show in these.

Well at least the fish think he's glad to be getting eaten.  ;)
