Title: Rain Suit Recommendations

I’m looking to purchase a reasonably priced rain suit. I would like to have bibs to keep water from running down my back side while sitting in the kayak. Not really interested in insulated. Any recommendations as what to look at or steer clear of?

 I bought a pair from Duluth Trading Company that they had on sale for 200 bucks. I've always had bibs before and these are not and I like them better. The bibs always pull on you when sitting down and they're not going to keep water from running down your back. Keeping your hood up only does that. Plus when you're sitting down these have no fly on them so water doesn't leak through them.

Down here I like Frogg Toggs but we get pretty hot.

FROGG TOGGS Men's Pilot Pro Waterpoof Rain Jacket and bibs.
Jacket has a zip in liner that i can use for ice fishing early and late in the season.
If ya buy it on Amazon watch the pricing as it will go up and down daily!
Ended up with different color jacket and bibs because of the pricing!!!!
I'm old and not that "style" conscious and the fish or my fishing partner don't care either.

I have a now older set of Frogg Toggs, in a camo color, and they've been a good purchase for a reasonably priced rain suit.  I had bought them to carry, for times when it might start to rain while I'm out fishing or hunting, but are not really good for those all day, windy, drenching types of rains.

I try not to get out in the rain now, and if I did, I would look at something like Grundens, and bib type, but they're not cheap.

I’ve been in the same dilemma not wanting to spend 500 shumolies on a set of raingear. Some even more than that. I landed on Grundens spending a lot of time in Alaska. It’s what all the commercial fishing guys wear up there and you see it everywhere. You can’t go wrong with it. I’ll post a link and my set has held up well and is comfortable. I bought the camo and use it in the duck blind also.
