Over the last four years I have accumulated quite a bit of Createx paint, primarily the standard paints but I have a couple of the "wicked" colors too. What has griped me is the cleaner. It comes in such small bottles and really takes a bit to get an airbrush clean, clean. Having seen several "recipes" for cleaners I decided to whip one up and give it a try. Hallelujah! This stuff works..... GREAT. And the cost to make about two gallons of the stuff is less than two , one pint bottles of the Createx stuff.
4 cups of purified water.... I use bottled water
1 cup of 91% alcohol
1 cup of fantastic or 409 cleaner
5 drops of glycerin
I made up my batch using a 1/2 gallon milk bottle.

My recipe is similar and works awesome as a cleaner, and thinner. ;)

Good information. I'll probably need this soon.

I use one very similar to this one as well. The recipe is still packed away somewhere but it is a mixture of distilled water, alcohol glycerin and windex. Works nicely.

Care to share you elixer?
30% isopropyl alcohol
70% distilled water
5 drops of glycerin per ounce.
70% isopropyl alcohol is already 30% water
91% has 9% water.... So... Depending on what you buy. Final mix is 70% water.... 30% alcohol and 5 drops of glycerin per ounce.
Works fantastic for me and friends.
