I tried my hand at Pumpkinseeds this afternoon on a large bait than I have been working with and am pretty much pleased with the outcome in spite of a couple flubs. The gill flap dots are too close to the eyes, and I really would have liked a bit more of the bright yellow belly behind the orange and ahead of the tails, but next time, eh? The sponge texturing was easier than I thought it was going to be. They got a bath in CS Sealcoat and as soon as they harden up overnight the hooks will go on and possibly they'll go swimming on Friday.
