Running the Zumbro River probanly

Quite a few states have started populations transplanted from out west. Possibly a roamer from one of those.

Could be but cool.

Maybe an escapee from from a game farm/zoo? Only about 10 miles north from Zollman Zoo

Zolman Zoo is very secure and they'd know if an elk was missing. The same for any elk farmers. They're double fenced. I think its a roamer either down from the NW elk herd or visiting from S. Dakota's Black Hills.

I believe wild life is changing their path of migration this year. I'm not sure whats causing it. But we volunteer at a bird sanctuary near us and we had an ornithologist ( a person that knows a lot about birds ) come and talked to us. He has found that the birds that normally migrate from the north over Ohio have shifted and now flying more west or over Indiana. They're not sure why but it could be weather or a change in the jet streams. Another thing is black bear. It's not that we never get black bear in Ohio but this year we're getting quit a few reports of seeing them. And when we went to Canada this year we always see a wolf or two but this years we must have seen 15. So I think it has a lot to do with the changing climate and forcing the animals to move to new areas.
