Iowa got a bit of weather action this afternoon, not all the far from the Do-It headquarters, so I hope all is well there.
Locally, we had tornadoes dancing all over the place this afternoon, just nothing here at home in Rochester. Close though. Reports of a farm completely totaled near Stewartville, only 15 miles to the south. Here at home a neighbor and I watched cloud rotation pass overhead and a while later another mass of rotation to our east. Nothing came down out of either cell thankfully.
Man, this sketchy weather with every other day bringing a new high- or low-pressure system is really tossing a wrench in the fishing. Then too, going from 72 at 11 AM to 29 degrees for an overnight low doesn't help with the water warming either.
This whole week has been a wild time with the weather here. We could use some stability, sooner than later.
How has the weather been for ya'll in other areas of the country?

I can’t even begin to imagine going through a tornado, nor a hurricane. WV has seen a few twisters, but due to the hills and valleys they tend to be short lived and weak. Straight line winds really cause us issues due to the abundance of trees and lines repairs in remote spots. Our biggest threat however is flash flooding. A quick 3-4” of rain in the wrong valley or hollow could be detrimental.
Going to attempt to fish tomorrow before the chance of rain in the afternoon and the cold front Monday. Hopefully the wind stays tame for a while.
